This past Friday, Jimmy Fallon’s late night show played host to none other than EDM’s German golden child Anton Zaslavski, aka Zedd. Aiding Zedd in his live rendition of “Clarity” was both The Roots and Foxes, although as we found out through the David Letterman performance, Foxes doesn’t particularly have the best set of live pipes. Seeing as I don’t keep up with Jimmy Fallon (does anybody?), from what I understand it was “Video Game Week” on his show. So what does Zedd do? He let’s his 23-year old personality shine through, slipping behind the DJ booth to play his “Legend of Zelda” remix on national television. It just goes to show that just because “Clarity” became an international radio hit doesn’t mean Zedd will stop being Zedd. I dig that. A lot.
